Each of the Celentano children performed and participated in the Long Island Youth Orchestra; a violinist, bass trombonist, french hornist & bassoonist. The foundation has created a scholarship dedicated to any member of the Long Island Youth Orchestra in the amount of $250 per year.
To Apply for the Celentano Foundation Scholarship:
- Must be a member of the Long Island Youth Orchestra
- Please submit a 2 page essay about what music means to you.
- Please submit a recording which includes one movement of a piece OR 3 excerpts of your choosing that showcase the diversity of your playing.
